Coconut Grove is our very special island retreat. We are located on the 'Garden Island' of Taveuni. It is a quick trip by plane from Nadi International Airport, taking about 90 minutes.

Taveuni is also accessible from Suva on a weekly inter-island passenger and cargo ferry.

Located on the north end of the island, beach side of the road, this tropical paradise is one of only three properties on Taveuni that is directly on a secluded, white sand beach.

Coconut Grove maintains a 24-hour front/reception desk for your convenience.

The surrounding waters, known as the Somosomo Straits, are Fiji's top diving and snorkeling areas, of world-class standard.

GETTING TO TAVEUNI

From Nadi International Airport, Taveuni is serviced by both Pacific Sun and Air Fiji.

The flight is a little more than an hour from Nadi-Taveuni.

So how do you choose where to stay on Taveuni?
There are so many choices! And each of them is special & caters to different visitors<</p>

We know this, so here's some information to help you make the right decision:

1. Are you looking for beachfront accommodation?
   If the answer is YES, we are one of only 2 resorts that is actually located directly on a beautiful & secluded white sand beach.
2. Do you plan to visit the eco-tourism spots, i.e. Bouma, Lavena, Waitabu and Vidawa?
   We are in Matei, which is the closest area to the eco-tourism sites!!
3. Do you want to have breakfast available in the morning?
   If so, you will be pleased to know that included in the rate is fresh fruits, homemade granola/muesli, fruit shakes coffee and tea all morning long. In addition, just ask at any time of the day & the staff will deliver fresh coffee or tea with homemade cookies right to your cottage at no charge!
4. Is a good nights sleep important to you?
   If you answered YES, then you will be pleased to know the following: despite the fact that we are in the middle price range, we know how important a good nights sleep is. (especially when you are on holiday) That is why we have imported inner spring mattresses, high thread count 100% cotton sheets & imported down pillows. Luxury at an affordable price.
5. Do all of the cottages have private bathrooms?
   YES, with indoor bathrooms & attached outdoor 'Honeymoon Showers' in the more expensive cottages.
6. Any goodies for the beach?
   YES, there are chaise lounges and hammocks under the flamboyant tree on the beach, & 3 kayaks for our guests to use whenever they like (be careful of the reef!)

We had an absolutely wonderful time at your resort. It was very comfortable and felt very homey. The food was all fabulous and the highlight for me was cooking with Bimla and Vina! You have something really special at your resort. It's comfortable and clean but not fussy.
